It was in 2008 that Patrick Côté Collin founded La Ferme Manche de Pelle in the heart of the village of Saint-Nérée-de-Bellechasse. Holder of a DEC in vegetable production, this enthusiast therefore wanted to promote diversified agriculture that was closer to the consumer. Five years later, the gardens of his small 35 hectare agricultural property were certified organic by Ecocert Canada. He has since relied on local agriculture and serves regional markets with his vegetables.
