Sainte-Claire is noted for its agricultural and industrial sectors. Modern and prosperous farms are found along both sides of the Etchemin River as well as on adjoining land. Its industrial sector boasts numerous businesses of all sizes and a thriving job market. A few steps away from the church, designed by François Baillargé and built with rough stones in 1825, visitors can admire the beautiful stately homes, which are part of the parish's architectural heritage.
