In a few words
Picturesque village at the edge of the St. Lawrence River. At one end of Saint-Michel, visitors can catch a glimpse of the pilgrimage chapel, a replica of the one in Lourdes in France. At the heart of the village is the parish church, with its “Napoléon Déry” organ and presbytery dating back to 1739. To the east is another small chapel dedicated to Saint Anne, well worth the detour. Take the time to visit the marina, walk on the pier or enjoy a picnic and the beach. Several interpretation panels will guide you on your tour and provide a peek at the early days of settlers and the story behind this historical village.
