Bicycle and gourmet in the same sentence, it can't help but be pleasant. A Friday in the summer of 2023, my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of being among the first to take this gourmet bike tour organized by Ann-Rika Martin of O'Ravito Café-Relais to visit a cherry producer, Camerises St-Philippe in Saint-Anselme.

A milk producer for over 30 years, Denis Carrier was looking for an alternative crop in order to better exploit the land of his vast farm on Rang Saint-Philippe, in Saint-Anselme. In 2014, he therefore embarked on the cultivation of haskap with his wife, Nancy Jacques, by planting some 8,300 plants on 11 acres.
